Woodrow "Woody" Elmo Register

Woodrow “Woody” Elmo Register, Sr., 77 of Hortense, passed away Wednesday (November 10, 2021) at his residence following an extended illness.
Born in Jacksonville, FL., his father was Richard Woodrow Franklin Register. He was also preceded in death by a son, Woodrow “Elmo” Register, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Mary Musfeldt.
Woody worked many years as a painter for D&D Decorators. He was a simple man who loved his family, his fur babies, trucks, fishing, boating, and his tractors.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard Register (Cecelia), of Nahunta; 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Dixon, of Hortense, Irene Rawlins (William Warren), also of Hortense, Tonya Lee, of Nahunta, and Nina Babbin (Don), of Montana; 26 grandchildren, Samantha, Jessie, Kimberly, Anthony, Donovan, Emberly, Harley, Richard, Jr., James, William, Irene, Joseph, Dalton, Alexis, Woody, Justin, Britney, Katelyn, Michael, Jordan, Chasity, Tiffany, Tara, Joshua, Tori and Brandon; multiple great grandchildren; and his furbaby, Bisquit.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
