William "Leroy" Pollard

Nahunta-William “Leroy” Pollard, 81 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (February 6, 2022) at his residence following an extended illness.
Born in Brunswick, GA., his parents were Johnnie Irvin Pollard and Laura Ophelia Booie Pollard. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jackie Pollard, Johnnie Ray Gordon, Mack Gordon, Jimmy Gordon, and Kenny Gordon.
Leroy was a Carpenter and attended Set Free Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Ann Pollard, of Nahunta; one son, Carl William Pollard, of Nahunta; daughter, Jessica Renee Pollard, of Brunswick; 8 grandchildren, Blake Pollard, Caitlyn Pollard, Cameron Pollard, Matthew Pollard, Alana Pollard, Dewayne, Michael Spires, and Melody Spires; and a sister, Amy Lewis, of Nahunta. Also several other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday (February 12, 2022) at 3PM at 934 Matthews Cr. Nahunta, GA 31553.
