William Forrest Coleman

April 15, 1945 — February 14, 2021

Hoboken – William Forrest Coleman, 75, of Hoboken passed away Sunday evening (February 14, 2021) at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, GA his parents were Oren Eugene Coleman and Corrith Louise Blackburn Coleman. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gene Coleman and Wayne Coleman.

William served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his son, William “Billy” Forrest Coleman, Jr. of Jacksonville Beach, FL; a daughter, Sharon Coleman; several grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert E. Coleman (Debbie) of Waycross; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Gail Jacobs (Terry) of Hoboken and Colleen Elaine Coleman of Nahunta; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are highly recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

A graveside service will be held Friday morning (February 19, 2021) at 11am at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross with Rev. Steve Beal officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
