Wayne Grantham

Nahunta-Mr. Oscar "Wayne"Grantham,53,died early Saturday morning (Oct.25,2014) at The Specialties Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida after a brief bout with cancer. Born in Waycross, Georgia he was the son of Albert and Louella Morgan Grantham. Mr. Grantham was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a Freelance Carpenter and had his own company , he loved building, his special hobby was building miniature houses and little villages out of popsicle sticks, he also enjoyed playing contest on the radio (and won many times). Wayne loved to watch wrestling. He is survived by his 2-sons, Jonathan Grantham, of Washington State, and Timothy Grantham, of Nahunta, a daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Grantham Bowles, of Waycross, his brother and sister-in-law, Jessie and Susie Grantham, of Woodbine, a sister, Bonnie Grantham, of St. Mary's, GA., 4-grandchildren, Gini Bowles, Ty, Kyler and Tristian Grantham, also several nieces, nephews and other relatives. There will be no services at this time. In Lieu of Flowers family request donations be made toward the services or The American Cancer Society.
