Vickie Davis Hendrix

Nahunta- Vickie Davis Hendrix, 64 of Nahunta, passed away Wednesday (February 2, 2022) at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross following an extended illness.
Born in Miami, FL., her parents were Lee L. Davis and Elizabeth Carlisle Pittman. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Seth Proctor; a sister, Brenda Holcombe; and a brother, Steve Dykes.
Vickie was a homemaker and attended Church at The Foundation. She enjoyed painting, crafting, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Possum Corbitt (Eileen), of Hortense; daughter and son-in-law, Ann Sauls (Randy), of Blackshear; 5 grandchildren, Ali Wilson (Reed), of Nahunta, Hunter Corbitt, of Macon, Christian Proctor, of Brunswick, Ryhan Proctor, of WY., and Aiden Hurles, of Blackshear; 3 great grandchildren, Grey Wilson, Paxton Proctor, and Nevaeh Proctor; 6 brothers and sisters-in-law, Hank Davis (Joni), of Hortense, David Davis, of Hazelhurst, Walt Dykes (Tina), of Hortense, Roger Dykes (Serena), of Brunswick, Cary Dykes, of Hortense, and Joey Dykes, of Hortense; and one sister, Sharon Smith, of Alabama. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday (February 5, 2022) at 11AM at Axson Cemetery with Rev. Keith Burch officiating.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
