Troy Billy Cargile

Folkston – Troy Billy Cargile, 59, of Folkston passed away Friday (December 5, 2025) at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital.

Born in Brunswick, GA his parents are Jessie Earline Rogers Cargile and the late Bobby Cargile. She is also preceded in death by 2 sister, Doreen Shepard and Darla Cargile; and a brother, Tracy Shannon Cargile.

Troy was a mechanic who enjoyed doing card tricks, collecting knives and fishing.

Survivors include 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Alexis Odum (Rusty) of Brunswick and Brittany Luckey of Thomaston; a son, Devin Cargile of Brunswick; 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Swayzie, Blayten and Padgett; his mother, Earline Cargile of St. Simons; 3 brothers, Bobby Cargile, Jessie Cargile and Kenneth Cargile all of Brunswick; 2 sister, Dana Powley and Heather Joseph both of Brunswick; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
