Timothy "Pinetree" Leroy Walker

Nahunta – Timothy Leroy “Pinetree” Walker, 64, of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (October 15, 2023) at Memorial Satilla Heath in Waycross, GA.

Born in Jesup, Ga., his parents are the late Leroy Walker and Mary Alice Causey Walker of Nahunta. He is also preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Burnice and Pansy H. Causey; paternal grandparents, Riley and Minnie Walker; brother, Rick Walker. Pine Tree loved living in the woods, fishing and being on the farm.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Walker of Nahunta; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael “Mike” Walker (Sheila) of Hickox, Stacy Walker (Shannon) of Hoboken; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra Crews (Bobby) of Nahunta, Patti Johns (Dale) of Hickox; sister-in-law, Tina Walker; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Monday (October 16, 2023) at 5-until at the home of Ms. Mary Walker 3690 Petty Crossing Rd. Nahunta, GA.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday (October 17, 2023) at 3PM at Grace Community Church of God in Hoboken, GA. with Rev. Arthur Hickox and Rev. Paul Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Crews, Tony Cribbs, Robbie Walker, Richie Walker, Colby Walker, Rowdy Walker, and Shane Johns.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta, GA.
