Thomas Lloyd Conley, Sr.

Thomas Lloyd Conley, Sr., born July 21, 1948 and passed away June 9, 2022 at his residence in Brantley County, GA.
He was born in Cleveland, TN. to the late George and Lorrine Conley. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Conley and a sister, Nellie Ford.
He was a proud U.S. Marine who honorably served his country from 1967-1970, doing one tour in Vietnam. He received a Purple Heart and a Gallantry Cross with a Silver Star while in Vietnam. He was very well known for his Carpentry and Architectural skills and was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Conley, of Hortense; 5 sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Conley, Jr. (Stacy), of Hortense, Jonathan Fred Conley (Andrea), of Macon, Dale Conley (Kayla), of Macon, Corey Conley, of Hortense, Terry Dewayne Conley (Valerie), of Hortense; daughter and son-in-law, Brandy Nicole Bruce (Wade), of Fort Valley; 19 grandchildren, Katie, Kayce, Savannah, Tyler, Kelsey, Evan, Delaney, Kaylee, Teresa, Erica, Gage, Walker, Elyza, Bryson, Whitley, Hunter, Haley, Peyton, and Magnolia; 11 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis Conley (Ann), of Lake City, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia Weiske (Dan), of Michigan. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday (June 12, 2022) at 2PM at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Bro. Shaw McVeigh officiating.
