Thomas 'George' Owen Harrell

Nahunta-Thomas "George" Owen Harrell, 53 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (February 9, 2014) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick following an illness. Born in Jesup, GA., his parents were James Thomas "Buck" and Everlean Hailey Harrell. He was also preceded in death by a step brother, James Gordon Harrell. Thomas worked many years as a boilermaker, and he enjoyed fishing and going to the river. Thomas also served in the United States Army. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Darlene Johns (Jeffery), of Folkston; a nephew, James Keen, of Folkston; 4 aunts, Odell Aspinwall, of Brunswick, Leona Wooten, also of Brunswick, Deeann King, of Wichita, KS, Zade Harrell, of Hortense. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A Memorial Service will be Saturday (February 22, 2014) at 11 AM at Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
