Thomas Jefferson Crews, Jr.

Waynesville – Thomas Jefferson “Jeff” Crews, Jr., 55 of Waynesville passed away Wednesday evening (September 13, 2023) at his residence after a brief illness.

Born in Waycross, GA his parents were Thomas Jefferson Crews, Sr. and Joyce Ethel Newman. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Roger Lamar Crews; and a sister, Amanda Harris.

Jeff was an exterminator for many years and was of the Baptist faith. He loved spending time and playing with his grandbaby, playing video games and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Crews of Waynesville; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas Andrew Crews (Kneley Knowlton Crews) of Patterson and Branden James Crews of Nahunta; a daughter, Roxanne Nicole Crews of Hortense; a grandson, Connor Branch Crews of Patterson; 2 sister and a brother-in-law, Rhonda Corbitt (Tony) of Nahunta and Jennifer "Jenny" Howard of Stockton; nieces and nephews, Levi Corbitt, Maddie Corbitt, Layla Corbitt, Brooklyn Corbitt, Logan Corbitt and Sadie Howard, Kenneth Harris all of Nahunta, Ashley Harris, Amber Johnson both of Lulaton; also several other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
