Hickox – Terry Knight Wainright, 60, of Hickox passed away Thursday morning (March 29, 2018) at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Waycross, GA his parents were Banner Jesse Wainright and Annie Mae Depratter Wainright.
Terry was a lineman for Okefenokee REMC and loved hunting, fishing, and making fishing lures.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Wainright of Hickox; a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse & Roxanne Wainright of Hickox; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Haili & Jonathan Raulerson and Heather & Dusty Grace all of Hickox; 8 grandchildren, Blake Raulerson, Jaylon Raulerson, Leanna Raulerson, Raegan DePratter, Ally Grace, Kinlee Grace, Kelsie Bishop, and Banner Wainright; 2 brothers and their spouses, Gary Wainright (Susan) of Hickox and Paul Wainright (Paul Vincennie) of Orlando; 2 sisters and their spouses, Pattie Wainright-Hosti (Wayne) of Savannah and Joy Rudd (Doug) of Blackshear; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening (April 1, 2018) from 6pm-8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held Monday morning (April 2, 2018) at 11am at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Batten officiating. Burial will follow in Knox Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Wainright, James Dinkins, Buck Davis, Will Johns, Randy Johns, and Scott Studstill.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
