Stephanie Jo Mumford

St. Simons Island – Stephanie Jo Mumford, 57, of St. Simons Island passed away Thursday, (November 21, 2024) at her residence.

Born in Brunswick, GA her parents at Loretta Jane Higginbotham Mumford and the late Joseph Q. Mumford. She is also preceded in death by a son, Caled Kea; and several aunts and uncles.

Stephanie worked in housekeeping and was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Brunswick. She loved her family dearly, her dog, Nash, the beach, camping, singing and dancing.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Donovan Norris (Lucia) of St. Simons Island; a grandchild, Giovanni Moreno of St. Simons Island; her mother, Loretta Mumford of Brunswick; 2 brothers, Jonathan Mumford of Atlanta and Joey Mumford of Brunswick; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
