Stacy 'Merrill' Lake, Jr.

Nahunta – Stacy “Merrill” Lake, Jr., 67, of Nahunta passed away Tuesday afternoon (February 2, 2021) at Wayne Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Dublin, GA his parents were Stacy Merrill Lake and Iris Myrtle Morgan Lake. He is also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Tori Lake and Brandy Litwick; and a granddaughter, Tara Lake.

Merrill served in the United States Navy and was a member of Raybon Advent Christian Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Tracie Lake of Nahunta; 3 grandchildren, Preston Miller, Riley Litwick and Regan Litwick; his sister, Annette Lake of Nahunta; a special niece, Kensley Crews of Nahunta; a special nephew, Chris Crews of California; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask are highly recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

A graveside service will be held Thursday afternoon (February 4, 2021) at 3pm at Rob Lewis Cemetery with Rev. Hilton Morgan officiating. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service starting at 2:30pm at Rob Lewis Cemetery.
