Hortense-Shannon Lee Davis,41, of Hortense passed away early Friday morning (January 25,2019) at his

Residence following a short illness.

Born in Jesup, GA. his parents were the late Richard Davis and Donna Sloan Davis of Hortense. He is also preceded by

his Maternal Grandparents, H.E. and Barbara Sloan, his Paternal Grandparents, Raymond Davis and Ruby

Lane Davis.

Shannon worked as a roofer with Millennium Roofing. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with

His family. He attended One Life at A Time Church in Hortense.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Sloan Davis of Hortense, 1 Brother and his wife, Brandon Ray and

Erin Lin Davis of Waynesville, 5 Nieces and Nephews, Desarae Davis, Dawson Davis, Noah Davis,

Madeline Davis, and Kyle Yarbrough.

Also, several Aunts, Uncles, and other relatives. And a host of friends.

Graveside services will be held Monday (January 28,2019) at Satilla Cemetery in Hortense, starting at

3PM with Rev. Sammy Spradley and Pastor James Davis officiating.

Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service at the cemetery starting at 2:30 PM.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Royster, Kenneth Wilson, Raymond Norfleet, Stacey Lane, Josh Hendrix, and

Michael Davis.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
