Sarah Annette Davis

Sarah Annette Wainright Davis, 61, of Nahunta passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at her brother's residence after a short illness. She was born in Nahunta to the late Perry and Annie Laura O’Neal Wainright. Ms. Davis lived here all of her life and worked for Pierce Timber for several years. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her family.

 Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Perry Wainright and Patrick Harry Wainright; nephew, Mac Wainright.

 Survivors include two brothers, John Walter Wainright (Lisa) of Nahunta, and Jerry Thomas Wainright (Paula) of Nahunta; nieces and nephews, Michael Miller, Kambree Wainright, Josh Wainright (Alicia), Daisy Wainright (Dalton Rowell), Perry Wainright, Hunter Wainright, Holton Wainright, Berklee Rowell, Rhett Rowell, Shannon Heath (Shawn), Cameron Wainright, Kaytee Bauer, Melissa Crews (Jeremy), Gavin Crews, Jonathan Crews, Patrick Wainright, Dana Carter (Rocky), Jaxon Carter, and Bailey Wainright (Bridgette); a very special friend of Annette and the family who is like a sister, Brenda Johnson; also several cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

 The family will receive friends beginning at 10 am Monday morning at Frye Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 5, 2024, at 11 am at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta with Rev. Jamie Giddens and Rev. Ray McMillan officiating.
