Jacksonville, FL - Sandra Elaine “Sandy” LaMaster Morgan, 59, of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. Born in Scottsburg, Indiana to the late John R. “Jack” and Helen Stark LaMaster and lived in Jacksonville for over thirty-five years. Mrs. Morgan was a Registered Nurse and worked last for the GEO Group in Folkston. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Mrs. Morgan always enjoyed watching movies, reading books, singing, dancing, watching birds, and enjoyed nature. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Daxton James Lee and Tatum Ruth Lee.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-two years, Tony Morgan of Jacksonville; two sons, Zachary Morgan of Jacksonville and Sean Morgan of Jacksonville; one step-daughter, Bambi Carter (husband Adam) of Nahunta; one stepson, Steven Morgan of Nassau County, FL; nine grandchildren, Laila Morgan, Luke Morgan, Colby Morgan, Jenna Morgan, Colton Morgan, Brittany Lee (husband Dalton), Briana Carter, Morgan Carter, and Makayla Carter; three great-grandchildren, Carter Lee, Callum Lee, and August Carter; one brother, Michael LaMaster (wife Tina) of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sisters, Sherry Powers (husband Ancil) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Donna Estep (Felix) of Scottsburg, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening (May 14, 2024) from 6PM-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, May 15, 2024, at 2 pm at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta with Rev. Charles Florey officiating.
Burial will follow in Rob Lewis Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
