Sandra Jones Karlberg

Sue Karlberg (Barber at Little Buffalo Creek Barber Shop, Nahunta), 69, passed away Tuesday (October 17, 2023) after a long battle of Cancer at Waycross Hospital. She was a Master Barber for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her life long companion of 19 years, Henry Karlberg, her dog, husband, Mike Karlberg, father Richard (Dick) Jones and mother Norma Jones.

Sue is survived by her sister, Patricia Hanson of Winter Park, FL.; two brothers, Rick Jones with his wife Kay, David Jones with his wife Kristy, of Nahunta; nieces and nephews, Ron Hanson (Betty), Kimberly Jordan (Jo), Angela Peeples and Shannon Caylor (Nikki); nine great nieces and nephews and three great-great nieces and nephews.

Sue requested that she be cremated. The Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Donations in Sue’s honor can be made to the family at 851 Little Buffalo Creek Rd. to help with final expenses.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, of Nahunta.
