Ruby Tuten Drury

Jesup-Ruby Tuten Drury, 75 of Jesup, passed away Wednesday (March 5, 2014) at her residence following an extended illness. Born in Jesup, GA., her parents were Edgar Robert and Reba Morris Tuten. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Kicklighter; and a half-brother, Robert Tuten. Ruby was a homemaker and a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed fishing and sightseeing. Survivors include her husband, Gerald Floyd Drury, of Jesup; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Terry Riddle (Calvin), of Jesup, and Jerrie Flowers, of Jesup; 3 grandchildren, Gerald Riddle, of Jesup, Carrie Mockler, of Independence KY, and John Riddle, of Jesup; 3 great grandchildren, Logan Riddle, Carly Riddle, and John W. Riddle, all of Jesup; and a sister and brother-in-law, Edna Dart (Robert), of Jesup. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday evening (March 6, 2014) from 6-8 PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral Service will be held Friday (March 7, 2014) at 2 PM at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Sheldon Rowell officiating. Burial will follow in the George Cemetery, Jesup. Pallbearers will be John Martin, Ernest Frye, Shon Mullis, David Evors, and Sheldon Rowell, Jr. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
