Ruby Sharon Murray

Hortense – Ruby Sharon Taylor Murray, 56, of Hortense passed away Tuesday evening (June 19, 2018) at Harborview Nursing Home in Jesup after an extended illness.

Born in Blackshear, GA her parents were Estellee and Grace Taylor. She is also preceded in death 2 sisters, Donna Strickland and Diane Morgan; and 2 brothers, Dennis Morgan and Larry Morgan.

Ruby was a waitress for Holiday Inn and attended Woodard Chapel. She also enjoyed cooking and reading.

Survivors include her son, Nathan Murray of Waycross; a daughter, Cheyanne Johnson of Atkinson, 4 brothers, Timmy Corley, Jimmy Corley, Cecil Taylor, and Buddy Taylor all of Waycross; 3 sisters, Tina Dinsbeer of Atkinson, Carol Sharpe of Brunswick, and Beth Patterson of Guyton; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

There will not be any services held at this time.
