Ruby Steedley Norris

Waycross- Ruby Arkansas Steedley Norris, 70 of Waycross, passed away Sunday (July 23, 2023) at her residence following an extended illness.

Born in Homerville, GA., her parents were James Leo Steedley and Lois Betty Corbitt. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harley Steedley, Jimmy Steedley and Joe Steedley.

Ruby was a homemaker and attended Gospel Tabernacle Church. She enjoyed crocheting, working with flowers, fishing and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her four children, Ralph Steedley, Jimmy Thomas, Denise Sparks and Ashley Moody all of Waycross; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Otis Steedley (Judy), William David Steedley and Farley Steedley, all of Waycross; four sisters, Janice Strickland and Rosemary Sapp, both of Waycross, Lois Saunds, of Daytona Beach, FL. and Carolyn Aldridge, of Waycross. Also several nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends.

No services will be held at this time.
