Rosa 'Lynn' Johnson

December 13, 1970 — March 14, 2021

Nahunta – Rosa "Lynn" Herrin Johnson, 50, of Nahunta passed away Sunday morning (March 14, 2021) at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Middleburg, FL after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, GA her parents were Wilton Herrin and Rosa Lee Lastinger Herrin. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Scott Herrin.

Lynn was the owner/operator of Pest Away Pest Control and a member of Grace Church of Nahunta. She loved her children and her dog.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Garrett & Gracie Johnson of Nahunta; a daughter, Ashley Johnson of Waycross; a granddaughter on the way; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Bert & Pam Herrin of Waynesville and Chris & Beverly Herrin of Hortense; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Due to the COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing and face mask, are highly recommended at the service. Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the services the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday morning (March 17, 2021) at 11am at Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Inman officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 10am at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Keith Herrin, Eric Hill, Darren Hill, Nathan Fisher, Jake Conley, and Redge Hanna.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the family to off set funeral cost.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
