Ronnie Eugene Stokes, Sr.

Ronnie Eugene Stokes, Sr., 57, of Woodbine, GA., passed away Thursday (December 4, 2014) . Born in Florence, S.C., his parents are Gladys Howl Stokes Blackman and the late Hayward Stokes. He is also preceded by 2 brothers, James Stokes and Vernie Stokes. Ronnie was employed with Reddy Ice in Jacksonville, FL. as a manager. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching football. Survivors include 1 son, Ronnie Eugene Stokes, JR., of Woodbine; a daughter and her spouse, Erica and Jonathan Drury, of Waverly; a granddaughter, Paeton Drury; one Niece, Angela Stokes, and a Nephew, Jimmy Stokes, both of N.C; and also several other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held Monday (December 8,2014) 11 AM at Colesburg Cemetery in Woodbine with the Rev. Tommy Sikes officiating.
