Robert Nolan O'Neal, Jr.

Hortense – Robert Nolan O’Neal, Jr., 61, of Hortense passed away Saturday (June 11, 2022) following a brief illness.
Born in Waycross, GA. his parents were Robert Nolan O’Neal, Sr. and Jeanette Johns O’Neal. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Steedley; a brother, Garry O’Neal.
Robert worked for the Brantley Co. Road Dept. as an equipment operator and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his friends and his family.
Survivors include 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Terry O’Neal of Hortense and Larry O’Neal (Evelyn) of Hickox; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet Nichols (Billy) of Hortense. Also, several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Graveside service will be held Thursday morning (June 16, 2022) at 11AM at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Donald Pittman officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior starting at 10AM at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be William Nichols, Joel Mathis, Lawton Dixon, Mark Jacobs, Timmy Creech, Guy Steed, Kevis Griffin, Billy Nichols.
