Robert Conn Davis

Nahunta-Robert Conn Davis, 82 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (March 6, 2016) at Folkston Park Nursing Home, in Folkston, GA., following an extended illness.

Born in Brunswick, GA., his parents were Lloyd Henry Davis, Sr. and Mandy Aleen Knight Davis. He was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Robert worked many years as a Food Salesman for Glynn Distributors. He was of the Pentecostal Faith, and enjoyed being with his family, watching the Atlanta Braves, and the Georgia Bulldogs. He also served in the United States Air Force and he always had a joke to share.

Survivors include two sons, James Jimmy Davis, of Brunswick, and Timmy Davis, of Humble, TX.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sarah Davis Vann, of Brunswick, and Susan Baughman (John), of New Mexico; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Mosley, of Brunswick, and Janice Davis Prescott, of Nahunta. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday (March 10, 2016) at 2PM at Bachlott Church of God with Rev. Dan Harris and Rev. Harry Cox officiating. Visitation will be held at the Church, one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Bachlott Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his nephews Dennis Mosley, Alton Mosley, Chris Prescott, C.J. Prescott, Bennie Cox, and Lawton Moseley.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
