Richard Earl Jelinek

Richard Earl Jelinek, 67 of Suttons Bay, MI., passed away Monday (December 6, 2021).
Born in Bad Axe, MI., his parents were Jim Jelinek and Bessie Toy Jelinek. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Jelinek; and a sister, Judy Campbell.
Rick worked many years as a Truckdriver before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeler riding, farming, golfing, and loved to spend time with his family.
Survivors include his two sons and a daughter-in-law, Sean Jelinek (Tori), of Traverse City, MI., Andrew Jelinek, of Suttons Bay, MI.; 6 grandchildren, Jack, Judd, Jordan, Wyatt, Cayden, and Elizabeth; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob Jelinek (Fran), of Suttons Bay, MI., and Ken Jelinek (Kay), of Winston Salem, NC.; and a sister and brother-in-law, Jean Heerema (Clix), of Suttons Bay, MI. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
