Rene Moore Dreggors

Hoboken – Rene Moore Dreggors, 54, of Hoboken passed away Monday (May 12, 2025) in Daytona Beach, FL from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Waycross, GA her parents were Charles Moore and Maxine Peacock Moore. She is also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Patricia Moore and Pam Moore; a niece, Haley Griffin; and her father-in-law, Donald Dreggors.

Rene was a farmer and a member of Hoboken Baptist Church. She also drove a school bus for many years and worked at Ware State Prison. Rene loved her grandbabies, working in general, farming, singing Karaoke and secondhand shopping.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Jody Dreggors of Hoboken; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney Harris (Mandy) of Hoboken, Jody Harris of Tupelo, MS and Jeffery Dreggors (Amy) of Hoboken; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Bethany Wheeles (Christopher) of Jacksonville, FL and Kelley Ternest (Kyle) of Hoboken; 10 grandchildren, Landon Wheeles, Meia Lyons, Tryston Lyons, Ethan Wheeles, Caden Dreggors, Jasper Harris, Zoey Dreggors, Haden Harris, Chloe Dreggors and Kentson Ternest; a brother, Danny Boy Moore of Hoboken; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Beth Holland (Scott) and Tina Moore all of Hoboken; mother-in-law, Meredith Ann Dreggors of Hoboken; sister-in-law, Jeannie Silva; special friends, Kaci Hartley, Glenda Hanchey, Hilda & Carlos Olivero and Lynn Moody; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Friday evening (May 16, 2025) from 6pm-8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Saturday morning (May 17, 2025) at 11am at Hoboken Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Glosson and Mrs. Beth Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Cemetery, 3050 Raybon Rd W. Hoboken, GA 31542.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Harris, Jody Harris, Jeffery Dreggors, Randall Rowland, Carlos Olivero, Chris Wheeles, Marcus Dreggors, Cody Shattuck and Chase Griffin.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
