Reba Gail Cleland

Nahunta – Reba “Gail” Williams Cleland, 72, of Nahunta passed away early Tuesday (August , 2025) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Folkston, GA her parents were Burney Willard Williams and Ruby Idell Knox Williams. She is also preceded in death by her husband, who she loved dearly, Terry Wannis Cleland, Sr.; a granddaughter, Destiny Nicole Stewart; 2 sisters, Mildred O’Neal and Mary Jane Williams; and 3 brothers, Edward Williams, Thomas Williams and Donnie Williams.

Gail was a salesclerk and a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church. She loved her family, watching football and canning.

Survivors include her 5 children, Terry Wannis Cleland, Jr., Chelsea Nicole Cleland both of Nahunta, Reba Diane Cleland of Valdosta, Rebecca Gail Dawson of Waynesville and John Harper of Virgina; many grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest Williams (Shirley) of Colorado; a sister, Shirley Clark of Yulee, FL; special nieces, Colleen O’Neal of Nahunta, Catina Mills and Emily Clark both of Yulee, FL; a sister-in-law, Linda Willaims of NY; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service on Monday (August 11,2025) starting at 10:30am.

A graveside service will be held Monday morning (August 11, 2025) at 11am at Bethlehem Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Knox officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
