Raymond James

Jesup – Raymond Allen James, 73, of Jesup passed away Thursday evening (November 1, 2018) at his daughter’s residence after an extended illness.

Born in Medford, OR., his parents were Walter James and Myrtle Henry James.

Raymond served in the United States Navy and was a crane operator for Oregon Still Mills. He loved fishing, traveling, photography and video production.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn James of Jesup; 2 sons, Raymond Karl James of Jesup and Kary James of Wake Forest, CA; a daughter, Kristine Cline of Waynesville; 9 grandchildren; a brother, Darrell James of Oregon City, OR; 2 sisters, Lela Riha of Portland, OR and Donna Joachim of Oregon City, OR; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A service will be held at a later date in Oregon.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
