Peter James Smith

Peter James "P jay" Smith, 64, of Nahunta, GA died suddenly Tuesday morning (March 16, 2010) at his residence. Born in Paris, Canada his parents were Melbourne and Florence "Gannaw" Smith. He was a Industrial Electrician with B. N. K. Construction Company. He was a lifelong member of the NRA, he enjoyed fishing and loved working in his workshop. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Thurza Smith of Nahunta, GA; his 4 children and their spouses, Thurza and Darrell Murray of Millwood, GA, Marie and Andy Gaskins of Jamestown, S.C., David Wayne and Tracie Plowden of Summerville, S.C., and Katie Sports of James Island, S.C.; 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren; 3 Brothers and a sister-in-law, Edward Smith, Kenneth and Monica Smith , and Gregory Smith all of Canada; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
