Brunswick- Paula Kay Mottweiler Spears, 70 of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday morning (October 21, 2025) at St. Vincent Medical Center in Jacksonville.
Born in Anderson, IN., her parents were Paul Mottweiler and Virginia Loggins Carvoo. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Mark Allen Mottweiler.
Paula worked many years as a Registered Nurse and always enjoyed taking care of others. She loved shopping, fishing, her dog Toby and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Brandon Rosencranse, of Lakeland, Fl.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nicole Causey (Duck), of Hortense and Kristin Carver (James), of Hickox; four grandchildren, Grace Carver, Nora Carver, Henry Causey and Emerson Rosencranse; brother and sister-in-law, David Mottweiler (Cindy), of Elwood, IN; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda Cave (Tommy), of Lakeland, FL., Beverly Taylor (Mickey), of Elwood, IN. and Cathy Beck (Jon), of Lakeland, FL. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday (October 25, 2025) from 3PM-4PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
