Patricia Moring Thomas

Nahunta- Patricia Frances Moring Thomas, 82 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (June 16, 2024) at Folkston Park Care and Rehab following an extended illness.

Born in Jacksonville, FL., her parents were John Moring and Josephine Lovell Moring. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Rikard; and a nephew, John Rikard.

Patricia was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, feeding the hummingbirds and loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Billy Edward Thomas, of Nahunta; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff Thomas (Tammy), of Nahunta; her daughter, Cindy Sullivan, of Yulee, FL.; two grandchildren, Kristen Ann Thomas (John), Magan Elizabeth Thomas Barnhill (George); 6 great grandchildren, Garrett, Gannon and Eliza Thomas, Magnolia, Rose and George Griffin Barnhill. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday (June 18, 2024) from 10:30AM-11AM at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday (June 18, 2024) at 11AM at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. John Smith officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her great grandchildren.
