Nickie Nicole Queen

Waynesville – Nickie Nicole Queen, 31, of Waynesville passed away Friday (January 12, 2024).

Born in Waycross, GA her mother is Jennifer Lynn Richardson Parker of Waynesville and her late father, Tracy Queen.

Nickie was a homemaker who loved being a mom to her two boys. She also loved cooking, singing and going fishing.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Reese Teddy Smelcer and Opie Jace Teddy Smelcer both of Waynesville; her husband, James “Teddy” Smelcer of Waynesville; her parents, Joe & Jennifer Parker of Waynesville; a brother, Christopher Parker of Waynesville; a sister, Sara Ann Parker of Waynesville; her maternal grandmother, Judy Allen of Waycross; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday afternoon (January 19, 2024) at 4PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Batten officiating.
