Nicholas Peterson

Jacksonville-Nicholas Lee Peterson, 33 of Jacksonville, passed away suddenly Monday night (November 26, 2012) at his residence. Born in Jacksonville, Fl., his parents are Teddy Lee Peterson and Debra Stemburg Moody. Nicholas loved fishing, and taking care of his little girl, Meili. He worked as a Boilermaker Apprentice for the Local 199 Union and attended Satilla Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Meili Jane Peterson, of Jacksonville; his mother and step-father, Debra and Terry Moody, of Hortense; his father, Teddy Peterson, of Jacksonville; 3 brothers, Travis Peterson, of Jacksonville, Brett Moody, of Nahunta, and Bart Moody, of Hoboken. Also several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday evening (November 30, 2012) from 6-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. A Funeral service will be held Saturday morning (December 1, 2012) at 11 AM at Satilla Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Satilla Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Sellers, Brett Moody, Phillip Brown, Timmy Sellers, Art Manning, and Walter Manning. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
