Nancy Florene Street

Nahunta - Nancy Florene Street, 79, of Nahunta passed away Sunday (April 26, 2026) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, GA her parents were James McCracken and Vesta Brookins McCracken; She is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Street.

Nancy was a housekeeper and a faithful member of Lulaton Baptist Church where she loved her Pastor and Church family. She was an avid reader and took great pride in accomplishing her daily chores keeping house!

Survivors include her son, Ruben Street of San Antonio, TX; 3 grandsons, Daniel Grayson Street (Alexis) of US Army, WA, Michael James Street of San Antonio, TX and Rion Nicolas Street of Corpus Christie, TX; a sister, Helen McCracken of Nahunta; and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held at Lulaton Baptist Church at a later date.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
