Nan McDaniel Huling

Nahunta – Nan Huling, 91, of Nahunta passed away Friday evening (April 21, 2023) at her residence after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 5, 1931 in Shiloh, GA to the late Olin McDaniel and Mary Ella Dunn McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Huling; and a daughter, JoAnne Huling.

She retired from the Department of Family and Children Services and was a founding member of Southside Baptist Church in Nahunta, GA.

Survivors include her daughter Cathy Jacobs and husband Rodney of Nahunta; grandchildren, Josh Barber of Honolulu, Hawii and Brandi Lane (David) of Sterling, GA; 3 great grandchildren along with extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Monday morning (April 24, 2023) at 11am at Greenlawn Cemetery with Bro. Bill Steed officiating.

Arrangements are with  Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
