Misty Lynn Cunningham Johnson Workman

Hortense-Misty Lynn Johnson Workman, 41 of Hortense, passed away Monday morning (March 11, 2013) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, GA, following an extended illness. Born in Phoenix, AZ. Her parents are Jan Johnson, of Brunswick and the late John T. Cunningham. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Jesse James Johnson. Misty was employed with Joey Toller Trucking as a truck driver. She attended Hopewell Baptist Church, and loved to fish and ride horses. Survivors include her husband, Scotty Workman, of Hortense; a son, Jamie Johnson, of Darien; a daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Toby Hutto, of Brunswick; 2 grandchildren, Jesse Hutto and Coleman Hutto; her mother, Jan Johnson, of Brunswick. Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorialization will be by cremation. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
