Michael Alan Peeples

Nahunta – Michael Alan Peeples, 66, of Nahunta passed away Thursday (May 14, 2026) at Harborview Satilla in Waycross after an extended illness.

Born in Waycross, GA his parents were Marvin Peeples and Jean Ester Highsmith Ward. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Peeples; and a sister-in-law, Alisa Peeples.

Michael was an operator for Watkins Engineers who loved spending time with his family. He loved NASCAR, watching TV, fishing and riding in the boat.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Tammy Altman Peeples of Nahunta; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Alana Pollard (Wes) and Leah Lowe (Jordon) all of Nahunta; 2 grandchildren, Emily Peeples (Lexi) and Mazi Lowe; a brother, Brian Peeples; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Monday evening (May 18, 2026) from 6pm-8pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
