Nahunta – Michael Lee Moore, 67, of Nahunta passed away Saturday (April 20, 2024) at Southeast Ga. Health Systems in Brunswick. GA.

Born in Waycross, GA. his parents were John Henry Moore and Lillian Nevada Jacobs Moore . He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Joyce Guinn Moore.

Michael worked in construction. He was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed bird watching, fishing, and most of all spending time with his grandkids and his family.

Survivors include 2 sons, Michael L. Moore and Roger Moore both of Nahunta; 8 grandchildren, Taylor Moore Rives (Kale), Katlyn Moore (Colby Ruesga), Michael   Moore, Darian Moore, Lillie Moore, Natalie Moore, Abby C. Moore, and Michayla Bonilla; 1 great grandchild, Maelyn Ruesga and one on the way; a sister and brother-in-law, Frances Highsmith Hall (Alex) of Nahunta; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday (April 23, 2024) from 2:30PM-3:00PM at New Hope Cemetery.

A Graveside service will be held Tuesday (April 23, 2024) at 3PM at New Hope Cemetery with Rev. Freddie Newman officiating.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
