Michael Eugene Carroll

Nahunta- Michael Eugene Carroll, 70 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday (April 21, 2024) at his residence following an extended illness.

Born in Miami, FL., his parents were Hollis Carroll and Patricia Jones Carroll.

Michael served four years in the United States Navy and then went on to work many years as a welder. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed fishing, scalloping, making things and playing Words with Friends.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Carroll, of Springfield, S.C. and Christopher Carroll (Eileen), of Liberty, S.C.; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie Westmoreland (Richie), of Nahunta; 5 grandchildren, Phoebe, Connor, Nicole, Denny, and Scotty; 8 great grandchildren; one sister, Dianne Carroll, of Greenville, FL.; and two nieces, Laura Davis and Heather Eastham. Also several other relatives and a host of friends.

No services will be held at this time.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
