Mary Jeffries

Nahunta- Mary Travis Jeffries, 77 of Nahunta, passed away Saturday (August 10, 2024) at her residence following an extended illness.

Born in Helena, Arkansas. Her parents were Johnny Howard Travis and Goldie Jane Ray Travis. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Marie Lyons.

Mary attended Lulaton Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed watching Soap Operas, cooking, crocheting and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her two children, Wallace Perry, Jr. and Martha Jane Fantine, both of Nahunta; three grandchildren, Benjamin Cook, Kimberly Cook and Ashlee Cook; 12 great grandchildren, Benjamin Paul Cook, Jr., Angel Marie Cook, Rachel Lea Cook, Natalie Cook, Kristen Cook, Paisley Aldridge, Mylee Aldridge, Bianca Coleman, Dominic Coleman, Tristen Coleman, Donte` Coleman and Isabella Coleman; three brothers, Johnnie Travis (Kay), of Arizona, Addis Travis, of Brantley Co., and Dean Travis. Also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
