Brunswick-Mrs. Mary Jeanette Morrison Moore,85, of Brunswick, GA. Died early Sunday morning (Mar. 16, 2014) at The South Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick after an extended illness. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas she was the daughter of Charles Moses and Jenny Prudy Kamakawiwoole. She was preceded by her Parents, her loving husband, Franklin Moore, 1-son, Kenneth Morrison, a Grandson, Charles Avalos, Jr., 4-brothers, Albert, Clyde, Buster & Gene Morrison, and her first husband, Alfredo Avalos. Mrs. Moore was of The Christian Faith and had worked at Parkers Bait Stand for many years. She loved bowling, watching The Soap Operas, fishing , cooking and just enjoying life to its fullest. Survived by 5-sons and 3-daughters-in-law, Fred Avalos,Jr. and Mary Ann, of Atlanta, Ruddie Morrison Avalos and Barbara, of Corpus Christi, TX, Charles Morrison Avalos, of Corpus Christi, TX, Rickie Moore, of Hunnington, IND and Paul and Leah Moore, of Brunswick, GA., a daughter and son-in-law, Navaska and David Maruca, of Kingsland, GA., 13-Grandchildren, 14-Great-Grandchildren, 4-Brothers and 3-sisters-in-law, Chet Kamakawiwoole, of Hilo, Hawaii, Horace and Maria Morrison, of San Antonio, TX, Bobby and Sue Morrison, of Aransas Pass, TX, Jerry and Theresa Morrison, of Delrio, TX, Sisters-in-law, Ruth Morrison, of Corpus Christi, TX, and Vicky Morrison, of Atlanta, GA, also several Nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday (Mar. 19, 2014) at 11 A.M. from The St. Simons Lighthouse and Pier with Rev. Horace Godfrey officiating. Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home Nahunta.
