Mary Madrass Griffin Spinnato,57,of Sulphur Springs, Texas died Friday (Mar.5,2010) in the Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas after a short illness. Born in Waycross, Georgia she was the daughter of the late John Elvin Griffin and Mary Evelyn Redding Dowling, of Hoboken. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, Joe Spinnato and step-father, Floyd Eugene "Bouncer" Dowling. Ms. Spinnato grew up in Brantley County and attended the Brantley County Highschool. She loved riding horses and had worked with Wal-mart in Texas and was of the Baptist faith. Survived by her Mother, Mary Evelyn Dowling, of Hoboken, 2-brothers and sisters-in-law, James Elvin and Sherry Griffin, of Pierce County and Jimmy Gene and Tinna Dowling, of Hoboken, her sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn D. and Chuck Phillips, of Chickamauga, GA. a very special companion Gary Elliott, of Sulphur Springs, TX. Also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be Monday evening (Mar. 8, 2010) 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta, GA. A graveside service will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 P.M. in the Hoboken City Cemetery with Rev. Tim Rowell and Rev. Joe Manning officiating.
