Marie Annette Minter

Waynesville – Marie Annette Doak Minter, 56, of Waynesville passed away Wednesday (February 4, 2026) at her residence after a brief illness.

Born in Muscatine, Iowa her parents were John Elsworth Doak and Linda Doak. She is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, John Doak and Paul Doak.

Marie was a deli manager for Satilla Grocery and enjoyed crocheting and playing her Xbox. She most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren, who where her whole heart.

Survivors include her husband, Jason Minter of Waynesville; 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Hannah Clay (Kermit) of Brunswick, Heather Sapp (Aaron) of Hortense, Tiffany Morgan of Waynesville and Jinnie Goodman (Mike) of Brunswick; 6 grandchildren, Marinna Scott, Hallie Scott, Trinity Simmons, Destiny Morgan, Grace Sapp and Leah Morgan; 3 brothers, Robert Doak of Brunswick, Kevin Doak of Kingsland and Eric Doak of FL; 3 sisters, Laurie Keele of Anderson Island, WA, Betsy Campagnola of CO and Penny Robicheaux of Broussard, LA; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
