Margie Bryant

July 15, 1938 — May 29, 2021

Hoboken- Margie Bryant passed peacefully Saturday May 29, 2021 to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born July 15, 1938 in Scott, Ga. to George Black and Lee Cooper Black. Her parents later moved to Jacksonville, Fl. where she attended school. In 1960 she met the love of her life and married Felton Bryant. Together they moved to Folkston, Ga and later made Hoboken, Ga their home.

Margie was known to be a very strong Christian woman with a great sense of humor who loved to joke and laugh. She enjoyed music and dance and working in her garden. She also loved to cook and sew. Everyone always enjoyed a delicious meal at her home and loved her own personal touch she gave to her talented art of sewing. To know Margie was surely a blessing and she will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter (Lynn Price) and two sisters (Elaine Taylor and Ruby Jacobs). Left to cherish her memories are her “Baby Sister” Betty Stewart her “Very Special Niece” Rita Renee Tedder. She also leaves behind a host of caring friends and relatives.

A special thanks goes out to dear friends Frank Bullard and Sharon Britton for all they have done for Margie and the family. Many thanks to The Hospice House for their devoted and caring service.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
