Linda D. Green

Hortense – Linda D. Green, 71, of Hortense passed away Saturday afternoon (July 6, 2019) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Nahunta, GA her parents were James and Louise Douberly. She is also preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters.

Linda was a supervisor for King and Prince Seafood and a member of Under His Wings Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Green of Hortense; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve & Courtney Green of Hortense; 5 grandchildren & their spouses, Brandon & Kellie Evans, Maylin & Jermaine Nixon, Jeremy Green, Adam Green, and Kason Kehoe; 2 great grandchildren, Lincoln Evans and Keighan Nixon; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon (July 10, 2019) at 2PM at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Middleton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 1PM.

Burial will follow in Little Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Evans, Adam Green, Kason Kehoe, Kyle Smith, Chandler Causey, and Jermaine Nixon.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
