Laura Jean Brinson Robertson, 60, of Waynesville, GA died Tuesday morning (March 24, 2009) At her residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Dunedin, FL, her father is Carl S. Brinson of Waynesville and her mother was the late Delma Lee Davidson Brinson. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who was a homemaker, who loved decorating and shopping. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, William "Red" Davis of Waynesville; 5 Children and spouses, Shane Whitford of Waynesville, Brent and Laura Whitford of Brunswick, Tammy and Larry Groover, Courtney Brown and Kayla Robertson all of Waynesville, GA; Father, Carl Brinson of Waynesville; Sister, Sheila Tibodeaux of Lafayette, LA and 2 Grandchildren, Shane Whitford, Jr. and Adriane Whitford; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorialization will be by cremation. A memorial service will be Friday evening (March 27, 2009) starting at 7 p.m. at Frye Funeral Home, Chapel (formerly Chambless-Frye) Nahunta.
