Kenneth Oswill Hardwick

Mr. Kenneth Oswill Hardwick,68,of Waynesville died Thursday afternoon (Sept. 23,2010) at the South Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick after a long illness. Born in Hampton, South Carolina he was the son of Kenneth O. Hardwick, Sr. and Beatrice Phillips Hardwick. Before his illness he worked as a brick and block mason. Survived by his wife, Carolyn Drew Hardwick, 3-sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin J. Hardwick, (Shelly), Robbie Roberson, all of Waynesville and Lonnie Hardwick, of California, a daughter Shannon Lee Hardwick Dowell, and her fiancé, Travis Middleton, of Waynesville, 5-grandchildren, Amanda Joy Hardwick, Steven Roberson , Nicole Schall, Duane and Cody Dowell, 2-great-grandchildren, Ally and Chandler Dowell, 4-brothers, Lloyd, Clarence, Jimmy and Lamar Hardwick, all of Florida, a sister, Janet Hardwick, of Brunswick, also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
