Kelly Gene Gibson

Nahunta – Kelly Gene Gibson, 40 of Nahunta, passed away Friday (May 19, 2023) at his residence.

Born in Augusta, GA., his parents are Ronnie Gene Gibson of Raybon and Rhonda and Gary Sellers of Hortense. He was preceded in death by a son, Bentley Gene Gibson; paternal grandparents, Franklin and Jeanie Gibson; maternal grandparent, Everett Caraway.

Kelly loved football, Skiing, doing mechanic work on vehicles, and most of all spending time with his kids.  Kelly worked with the boilermakers as a pipefitter.

Survivors include a son, Brody Gene Gibson of Waynesville; a daughter, Bailey Grace Gibson of Waynesville; his father, Ronnie Gene Gibson of Raybon; his mother, Rhonda Sellers (Gary) of Hortense; his sister, Delta Jean Gibson of Fernandina Beach, Fl. Also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends.

A Memorial service will be held Thursday (May 25, 2023) at 3PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta. With Rev. Sheldon Rowell officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
