Kathy Crews Warren

Kathy Crews Warren, 71, of Nahunta passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Southeast Georgia Health System after an extended illness. She was born in Hickox, GA to the late Plen and Irene Hickox Crews and lived here all of her life. Mrs. Warren graduated from Brantley County High School in 1970. She worked at Brantley County High School in school nutrition for twenty-one years. Mrs. Warren was a member of Nahunta First Baptist Church and loved to read.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Warren; two brothers, Kermit Crews and Gary Crews; one sister, Barbara Kelly.

Survivors include one son, Adam Warren of Nahunta; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Julio Rosas of Macon, GA; three grandchildren, Caitlynn Warren, Jessica Rosas, and Jaqueline Rosas; one great-granddaughter, Sorayah Rosas; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ben and Jill Crews of Mooresville, NC, and Tim Crews of Waycross; her beloved dog, Ed; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 6 until 8 pm at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 11 am at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta with Rev. Mike Hendrix officiating.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Crews, David Garrett, Julio Rosas, Lamar Crews, Gene Crews, and Eric Crews.
