Juanita Ann Crews

Nahunta – Juanita Ann Crews, 80, of Nahunta passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at her residence after an extended illness.

She was born in Homerville, Georgia to the late Perry Herrin and Stella Mae Pittman Herrin. Juanita is preceded in death by her first husband Warren Thrift, her second husband Perry (Danny) Crews, a son Warren Jesse “Barney” Thrift, an infant son Arlen Thrift, three brothers Perry Lee, Jerry Herrin and Stanley Herrin.

Juanita was a cherished daughter, mother and grandmother who loved to dance and any music that she could dance to. She was a hard worker, enjoyed reading and cared a lot about her family.

Survivors include her grandson Barret Glynn Thrift, her sister Linda Dowling (Robert), two sisters-in-law Lucille Herrin and Laurel Herrin and a brother-in-law JD Crews (Linda), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
